We are a Year 1/2/3 class on the west coast of the South Island of New Zealand.

We have 22 students, aged 6 and 7 years old.

There are 6 Year 1 students, 10 Year 2 students and 6 Year 3s,

with 12 boys and 10 girls.

Our teachers are Mrs McKenzie and Mrs Webb.

Our school caters for students from Year 1 to Year 13 (5-18 years old).

We have about 200 students drawn from the town of Reefton and the surrounding rural district.

Our community has a population of about 900.

Locally there is a large gold mine, some small coal mines and many dairy farms.

Our river is called the Inangahua River.
